• Powerful sedative - stronger than Valium - treats insomnia

STREET NAMES

• Roach, Roofies, The Forget Pill, R2, R.B. (Date Rape Drug)

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

• Small white tablet
• Now a blue coloured pill, not as potent, not readily dissolvable in water

• Swallowed
• Snorted
• Dissolved in a drink

Legal in many European countries but not in Canada and the United States of America

• Lasts 2 to 8 hours
• Creates a sleepy, relaxed and drunk feeling
• To enhance a Heroin high
• To ease the experience of coming down from Cocaine / Crack
• Alcohol - causes amnesia and disinhibition

• Blackouts and complete loss of memory
• Withdrawal seizures
• Nausea
• Difficulty with motor skills and speech
• Addictive
• Dizziness and disorientation

• Stay with friends
• Have a plan
• Know the symptoms
• Don’t leave your drinks when you go dancing or to use bathroom, etc.
• Don’t accept drinks from strangers
• If experiencing symptoms get assistance from a friend ASAP
• Go to the hospital
